The Shotgun Cabaret presents

Hear Me Now: Cell Phone monologues
A First Person Singular Original

From the checkout line to the seat behind you on the train, the modern phenomenon of the cell phone monologue is often a deliberate display - a defiant assertion of self. We're calling on the best and brightest of Bay Area talent to put this unsolicited public theater into a proper context, and demonstrate what iPhone exhibitionism can inadvertently, and entertainingly, reveal.

One night only: Monday, 12/3 at 8pm
Tickets
: $15*
(*There is a $2 credit card processing fee per ticket, no matter the point of sale.)

The Shotgun Cabaret

This fall, on traditionally dark nights, First Person Singular will illuminate the Ashby Stage with dynamically fresh takes on American culture: an engagement with First Ladies, aliens from the Twilight Zone, a nice Jewish boy who made the whole world sing, and Bay Area cell phone monologuists who are not the guy behind you in the checkout line. It's the national voice in all its crazy glory. It's First Person Singular at the Ashby Stage.
