Pintucci Family Xmas: a bleak comedy

by H.Gayle Harlan

Pintucci Family Xmas is a through-the-looking glass perspective on two of America's favorite subjects: Christmas and Dysfunction. Will Junior get to marry the girl of his dreams or will Pa and Auntie's plans for TOTAL FAMILY UNITY get in the way? An absurdly funny and icky peek into the Pintucci family's closet.

The Shotgun Players Theatre Lab kicks off its 2003 season of all new experimental works with this play by H.Gayle Harlan. The play featuring John Hetzler, Mary Samson, Chris Loar, Alyse Courtney and Anna Loar, is the story of the all-American Pintucci family, and how their Christmas goes horribly wrong. For those of you who still need to exorcise the demons of your most recent Christmas season, this is the show for you.

Pa Pintucci, his sister Auntie and Little Sis prepare the family home for the arrival of Junior who is coming home with Ittel, a lady friend of his from college. Ittel assumes she is being brought home as junior’s girlfriend, but little does she know that other plans have been made for her.

Watch as the family disintegrates by the glow of the holiday fire! HA HA HA HA!
